Race Head-To-Head In An Online 3D Horse Simulation Video Game

September 21st, 2011 admin No comments

Horse racing fans will find numerous horse simulation video games scattered all over the internet. But not all of them will measure up to your expectations. While some may charge membership fees, the ones that can be downloaded for free usually contain spyware or malware. There are very few gaming portals that can provide you the best virtual gaming experience. An ideal horse simulation video game should offer the player various useful features and functions. An online horse race game community that lets you earn community points is just one of the many features that will prove to be helpful to users. Besides this, the game should also include the following features:

• community forums

• jockey, bettor and trainer tournaments

• podcasts

• pre-built races

• handicapper's guide

]]>

• jackpot and super jackpot tournaments

• advanced mode play

• VIP membership

• Mentor program

A good horse simulation video game should appeal, entertain and intrigue the hard core horse fan, the casual player as well as an ardent horse fan who loves to gamble on horses. A video tutorial, demonstrating the chief aspects of the game and the online horse game community will help to enhance your overall gaming experience. The community forum and the ‘help' section can provide additional help and support.

It is always advantageous if the game can be played in private as well as community mode. As the name suggests, in private mode you play on your own with family and friends but cannot play and compete with other community members. Under the community mode, everything you do related to the game is shared with the community. While you are eligible to earn community points in the latter mode, you do not qualify for community points if you play in former mode.

You can also enjoy playing horse racing games such as Jockey game, Trainer game and Bettor game. The Jockey game is a fast-paced, action game that lets you compete as a jockey. The Bettor game offers an experience similar to that of real betting on live horse racing. The Trainer game is a bit more challenging yet exciting than the others. It not only offers you the chance to breed a sire and mare of your choice but also name their offspring.

Players can also participate in jockey, bettor and trainer tournaments and win great prizes like a weekend getaway or even a to chance meet top experts from the industry.

I write on subject Online 3D Horse Simulation Video Game that I find interesting and innovative. I wrote on subjects like technical application involved in manufacturing companies, geographical topics, sports, new game launch and more. Good horse breed website for kids with printable worksheet?

September 9th, 2011 admin No comments

Question by ilovesubasketball: Good horse breed website for kids with printable worksheet?
Does anybody know of a good website that has a worksheet on it with pictures of different horse breeds- possibly with brief descriptions as well? Or if you know of one for colors and/or markings too that would be great. It will be for 8-16 year olds, so if it's not super complex that would be great- basically just enough info for a crash course in different horse breeds, but anything will help. Thanks!

This site has all about colors.

http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/horses/

That site has links to various breeds of horses, but not particularly a worksheet. Unless you have a color printer, the worksheet and color sheets might be a little hard.

http://www.horseworlddata.com/breed.html

That one has good descriptions of the breeds, but not really pictures.

That is a pretty good one.

Good luck!!

Most Popular Horse Games Revealed by HorseCrazyGirls.com

September 5th, 2011 admin No comments

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) September 23, 2010

Virtual horse games are increasingly popular with girls who love horses, giving them a chance to experience horse care and friendly competition when they can?t ride. HorseCrazyGirls. com, a safe, friendly website for girls who love horses, has seen a steady increase in month-to-month traffic - including a 35% increase during August 2010 ? primarily from girls looking for horse games to play online. The website provides a directory of horse riding games, and allows users to review and rate them.

HorseCrazyGirls.com has revealed the horse games that have received the most reviews and comments from visitors. HorseIsle came in first with 535 comments and reviews, followed by My Horse Club (534), MyStable (499), Horseland (374), Howrse (307), Show Jumping (265) and Club Pony Pals (265), Pony Island (194), Riding Club (180), White Oak Stables (127), Bella Sara (119), Capalls (117), PonyBox (111), Horse Tycoon (79), Pony Luv (66), and Equiverse (41).

Sydney Rose, founder of HorseCrazyGirls.com and a horseback rider herself, says that the girls who share reviews often comment about features that make them feel like they have a ?real? horse, including the ability to ride, care for, groom and breed horses. Competition and riding challenges are also popular. Online horse games are great when you can?t be riding,? she says. ?And the more they are like having your own pony or horse, the better.? New developments in online gaming mean many now feature realistic graphics, as well as the opportunity to interact with other riders.

Not all reviews and comments are positive. Negative reviews tend to focus on games that are difficult to play (especially those requiring a program to be downloaded), as well as cost, with most visitors looking for free games. Safety remains a concern, and HorseCrazyGirls.com suggests girls avoid websites with chats or forums that are not carefully moderated.

Sydney notes that horse games for girls attract an international audience. ?Girls from all over the world are playing,? she says, adding that she has received traffic to her site from girls in more than one hundred forty countries. ?Girls who love horses are everywhere.? She invites girls to visit her directory to find new games to play, and to share their own reviews.

HorseCrazyGirls.com is a safe, fun place for girls to share their love of horses through equine games, books, photos and more. For more information, visit HorseCrazyGirls.com or contact Sydney Rose at 877-726-6376, sydney at horsecrazygirls dot com.

Horse Breeders Need Hidden Security Cameras

September 3rd, 2011 admin No comments

There are many reasons why horse breeders should invest in quality portable hidden security cameras both inside and outside of their barns. Horses no matter what their breed are incredibly valuable animals. Although there are no legal slaughterhouses open in America for horses, there are still people who buy and sell horse meat. A horse can mean thousands of dollars on the hoof whether dead or alive.

Human Nature

And they are also very docile animals, making them ( sadly ) a target for people who like to be cruel to animals.

"The use of video surveillance is continuing to increase in the country and many people are fitting their homes and businesses with security camera systems to record everything that happens in and around their home"

As a human being, you have probably made your share of enemies of the years ( it occurs to everybody ). You can't take the chance that a sicko from your past won't take their anger with you out on your pregnant mare or champion stallion. Hidden security cameras can not only help protect your horses, but helps to prosecute any intruder.

]]>

Foaling Season

The most normative reason horse breeders need hidden security cameras is when foaling season comes around.

"Even many professional thieves will shy away from a home or business that shows indications the property is being observed with a security camera"

Although most female animals ( including people ) have little trouble giving birth to their babies, mares are the great exception. And there seems to be an unwritten rule that the more valuable the mare, the more likely she is going to have trouble giving birth.

Domestic horses descend from wild prey animals that always had to worry about predators lurking around. Mares till retain this nature by preferring to give birth in the wee hours of the early morning.

"In addition to installing a security camera for their home or business, many are supplementing their surveillance systems with dummy cameras"

It used to be that you had to camp out in the foaling barn any time a mare was due and check on them every hour in order to make sure everything was alright. This made for many sleepless nights.

And pregnant mares can be very puzzled as to why there is suddenly a human sleeping in the barn with them, especially if this is their first foal. It is thought mares can purposefully delay foaling for some time if they think that they are in any danger. The presence of a person in the barn can cause mares to delay giving birth as long as possible.

"In addition to having a security camera installed, the placement of the camera is equally important"

A hidden security camera takes care of this. Sure, you still have to get up every hour or so to check on the visual feed from the hidden security camera, but at least you don't have to sleep in the barn. This can help you not only get some rest, but help relax the mare and make for a smoother delivery of the precious foal.
