I know I'm about to get dozens of eggs thrown at. So I am breeding my pitbull and my female has been in heat for about a week and a half. My female and the male have been in a room for about 8 hours but I don't know if they have locked because the day before she didn't let him mount her. Are there any signs that they might have locked? Oh and her vagina is swollen a little bit more? Is there any signs that they could have locked?

You definitely are going to get a lot of eggs thrown at you.
You should not be trying to breed her in the first place, quit while your ahead.
Have you seen the shelters? the many that are euthanized everyday? Do you know how pricey this will be? have you done any sort of testing on them? do you even have papers on them? You more then likely dont have a suitable dog for breeding anyhow.

An American Bully - JJang aka 'JJ' video. JJ was given up at The Harbor Animal Control shelter in San Pedro, CA, by his young owner, after having to move in with his sister; she refused to allow him to keep his dog. Lots of tears were shed having to abandon his loyal buddy and we promised him we'd save JJ's life and hopefully find him a new Daddy and new home. JJ is 6-years-old and is solid, and compact weighing in at 48 lbs. He has a typical loving American Bully attitude and adores humans. He's working on his dog socialization skills in boarding, and he tries really hard and just wants to please. Eventually he should be fine with all dogs. He's medium energy and also makes a great couch potato. JJ is housebroken, healthy, neutered, chipped and current on vaccines.
